Those Bright Young Things

One special part of Style Guide's rise to the summit of Fantasy, has been without a doubt his special ability to pick out those break players each year. The players that break into the 1st team or the established young or old player that has a great season.

Last year the Guide started with Glen Johnson who had a fantastic start to his Liverpool career and was seemingly scoring every week. This season it would seem Albrighton was an inspired pick for gameweek 1 and the unknown yet effective Al-Muhammadi is proving a great money value signing. It is these cheap players that provide an abudance of points that is one of the reason's for the Guide dominance of Fantasy.

The Monkey on the other hand, has always gone for experience. And none more so that Lampard who has got off to a flyer of a campagin, and rightly so the Monkey has captained him both weeks. However this week most players at the top have post a 70 point week. But the Monkey only posted 46! Why is this? Well I think the Monkey is trying to copy the greatness of the Guide, by picking two extremely "interesting" signings.

Most of the league has Anelka, Drogba, Bent and Rooney. However the Monkey has bravely some might say, picked a front two for the last two weeks of Kalinic and Kevin Davies.

The prolific Kalinic signed for Blackburn Rovers in August 2009 and has scored 3 goals in 27 apperances.

The mighty Kevin Davies scored 9 goals from 32 apparences last season.

Last season premier league champions Chelsea scored a stunning 103 league goals! Blackburn scored 41 league goals and Bolton scored 42 league goals, which is 17 goals less than Chelsea when combined together.

Of course the inspired if perhaps little strange signing of Kalinic and Davies might yet bare ripe rich tasting fruit. Perhaps Blackburn and Bolton are due to go on a crazy goal scoring frenzy!
And if they don't, well the Monkey has Ameobi as backup. Newcastle play one up front, usually Andy Carroll. Andy Carroll scored a hat trick in Newcastle's 6-0 trashing of Aston Villa this week. So will Houghton drop Carroll for Ameobi? Well stranger things have happen! Yea?

Thank god for the wild card hey Monkey!
